The 2024 Leaside CDS Festival
The Leaside Hockey Association is excited to host our first ever CDS Festival at Leaside Arena from Friday December 6 through to Sunday December 8, 2024. Open to CDS and CDP teams in the U7 - U9 age groups, the Festival provides a fun and friendly competition fully compliant with the developmental guidelines provided by Hockey Canada
Participation is by invitation only. Registration is $1,150 per team. Teams will play three (3) games with competitive tiering. A winner will be awarded in the U9 division
If you are interested in entering your team, please either contact the LHA coach of your age group and tier or complete the following CDS Festival Participation Request Form.
A goal of the Leaside CDS Festival is to ensure teams are placed in groups that match their appropriate skill and tier level, to ensure fair competition and ultimate enjoyment for all teams and players. Please make sure we have all relevant information to place your team in the appropriate group. The LIT committee reserves the right to make the final decision on teams’ group placement.

The LHA's incredibly popular online auction is BACK with some exciting changes for 2024. This year the auction will be held before the holidays during the CDS Festival December 6-8, 2024 and will be conducted completely ONLINE. So bid early and bid often for those amazing items. LHA members please note - Auction participation is not limited to CDS teams - any LHA team willing to participate can donate items.
Last year, our online auction raised over $49,000 which was distributed to LHA participating teams to offset the cost of both the tournament and the season overall.
