LHA Goalie Training returns for 2026-27
The LHA is pleased to announce that goalie training will be returning for the 2026-27 season.
We'll be offering two weekly sessions, FREE to anyone in the LHA, starting on Wednesday October 14, 2026:
- Wednesdays at 4 PM - All levels
- Saturdays at 2 PM - AA/A & HL/CDS/Select
Session details:
- Full goalie gear is required—can be borrowed from the LHA
- Grouped by age and skill level
- 3:1 goalie-to-instructor ratio
- Rotate through focussed skill stations
- Weekly session registration will begin in early October.

Bench Staff - Please Complete VSC for 2026-27
LHA Team Officials, Coaches & Skills Staff —
It’s time to complete your Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC)!
If you’re working with children on behalf of the LHA — including coaches, trainers, managers, skills coaches, and on-ice volunteers — a current VSC is required.
Here’s what you need to know:
- A full VSC is required every 3 years (⚠️ It can take 6–8 weeks to process!)
- OHF Screening Declaration is required every year via the OHF Submission Portal
- The portal is now open for the 2026–2027 season

IMPORTANT: You won’t be added to your team roster until your VSC is complete!
