🏆 Leaside U16 Red Wins the 2025 Canadian Cup!

Our U16 Red team had an unforgettable weekend in Montreal capturing victory at the Canadian Cup!

Head Coach Steve MacMillan shared:
“After dominant 6-0 and 4-0 wins on Day 1, the team came out flying. Despite falling behind 0–2 in Game 3, the boys battled back to tie it 2-2 late in the third – showing true Flames grit and determination. 🔥

In the finals, Leaside defeated the LPC Wild 2-0, with goalie Owen MacDonald earning his third shutout of the tournament (finishing with a 0.50 GAA), and Bryce Nasmith — Player of the Tournament — leading the charge offensively. 🙌”

The team proudly brought the hardware home to Toronto – even if the first snowstorm of the year made the ride a little longer than expected! ❄️
