Our competitive programs provide an opportunity for youth from 6 to 18 to be a part of a Leaside team that competes against other hockey clubs in a larger, organized league.

At U7 to U9, players are placed on teams with other children of a similar skill level following a series of invigilator led evaluations. Every child that attends an evaluation is placed on a team. Leaside teams play against other nearby clubs in the CDS league.

From U10 to U18 players wishing to join a competitive team can try out for one of our Select or GTHL teams. Our Select teams play non-contact tiered hockey in the North York Hockey League and our GTHL teams play at our highest level of competition in the Greater Toronto Hockey League. While the GTHL "A" level is non-contact, body checking begins at U14 in the GTHL "AA" level.
