Rob Stanley, who led the Leaside Minor Bantam A team to the GTHL and GTA Championships this past season, has been named GTHL Coach of the Year.

As the official Leaside Hockey Assocation hockey season comes to an end, we can confidently look forward to next year. The dream of a second pad is a concrete and steel reality, now rapidly taking shape beside the original rink.

Last week, all GTHL teams assembled at Lawrence Park Church for the Year-End GTHL Awards Banquet to salute the performances of all Flames teams. The evening was highlighted by the recognition of two City Champs.

After winning the City Finals, the Minor Bantam A Flames have gone on to win the GTA Playdowns.
