Jeff Dover: Winner of the LHA’s 2019-20 Jeff Munn Volunteer of the Year Award
Jeff Dover has been a volunteer with the LHA for over a decade. Jeff has coached both House League and Select teams, as well as served as the House League Convenor for several years. Jeff also served on the LHA Board and was part of the group that brought the new arena to Leaside.
Jeff was head coach of the 2002 Leaside Flames Red team for 4 seasons, leading the team to the NYHL championship in 2017. Before taking on the role of head coach, Jeff was the team manager for several years. Jeff was always supportive of the players and devoted a tremendous amount of personal time to their development. He set an example of fair play, hard work and respect for teammates, coaches, parents, referees, and opponents. He was instrumental in creating a positive hockey experience for all involved.
